Cinnamon Sugar Mixed Nuts
These cinnamon and sugar-coated mixed nuts are unbelievably easy to make and extremely crowd-pleasing!
Ingredients
2 egg whites
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
5 cups mixed nuts
1 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 225°. In a large bowl, add the egg whites and whisk until light and frothy, about 3 – 5 minutes. Add in the vanilla and whisk to combine. Add the nuts and fold in until coated
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and the cinnamon. In batches, mix the cinnamon sugar mixture into the nuts until combined.
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper. Lay out the nuts into a single layer, dividing them between the two baking sheets
- Bake for one hour, stirring nuts every 15 min. Let cool completely
