Chocolate Berry Trifle

Creamy layers of chocolate adorned with red raspberry. A looker on the dessert table which is loved by all and very easy to make.

Chocolate Berry Trifle

Ingredients

8 chocolate pudding cups (about 2 cups)
1 (16 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, defrosted
1/2 pkg. Wellsley Farms® Brownie Bites, roughly chopped
1 (16 oz.) pkg. fresh strawberries, sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. fresh raspberries

Directions

  1. Empty pudding cups into a large bowl and fold in 2 cups of the whipped topping; set aside
  2. Place half of the brownie pieces in the bottom of a large footed dish or glass bowl
  3. Top with 1/3 of the pudding mixture, 1/3 of the reserved whipped topping, then 1/2 each of the sliced strawberries and raspberries
  4. Repeat layers in order with remaining brownie pieces, 1/3 of the pudding mixture and the remaining berries
  5. Top berries with remaining pudding mixture and then the remaining whipped topping
  6. Refrigerate one hour to set layers
  7. Garnish with shaved chocolate and more fresh berries, if desired. Serve immediately
