Ingredients
Directions
1
Half an hour before cooking, season steak on both sides with sea salt and ground black pepper. Set aside at room temperature
2
Oil grill grates and preheat grill on medium-high heat
3
While grill heats, melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are tender, about 10 min
4
Arrange steak on grate, close grill lid and cook until browned with well-defined grill marks, about 8 min
5
Flip steak and continue cooking until an instant-read thermometer reads 130° (medium-rare), about 7 to 9 more min., depending on the thickness
6
Remove steaks to a warm platter, loosely tent with foil and let rest 10 min. The steak will continue to cook to a recommended final temperature
7
Cut steak into 1/4"-thick slices. Divide slices and garlic butter mushrooms evenly between six plates. Serve immediately drizzled with juices from the platter
