Q. If I’m a BJ’s Perks Plus Cardholder, how can I get a BJ’s Perks Elite credit card?
A. BJ’s Perks Plus Members can become BJ’s Perks Elite Members by paying the Membership upgrade fee of $55.* Once your Membership is upgraded, a new BJ’s Perks Elite credit card will automatically be mailed to you. Once you activate the new BJ’s Perks Elite card, your BJ’s Perks Plus card will be deactivated.

Q. Are Supplemental Members eligible for a BJ’s Perks Plus or BJ’s Perks Elite credit card?
A. If a Supplemental Member would like to apply for a BJ’s Perks Plus card, they need to become a PrimaryBJ’s Inner Circle Member. If they would like to apply for a BJ’s Perks Elite credit card, they will need to become a Primary BJ’s Perks Rewards Member.
NOTE: Supplemental Members are individuals you add to your Primary Membership, granting them access to their own BJ’s Membership. As a BJ’s Perks Rewards Primary Member, you may add up to 3 Supplemental Memberships to your account for a fee of $30* each.
If you are a BJ’s Primary Business Member or a BJ’s Perks Rewards Primary Business Member, you are allowed one Supplemental Member at no additional charge. You may also add up to 8 additional Supplemental Members to your account for a fee of $30* each. Supplemental Members may be family members, or coworkers/employees of your company.

Q. Can I add an authorized buyer to a My BJ’s Perks Mastercard credit card?
A. Yes. Authorized buyers are allowed to purchase on the Primary Cardholder’s account; however, the Primary Cardholder is responsible for payments on all purchases. The Primary Cardholder may add one authorized buyer at the time of applying. Once an account is open, the Primary Cardholder may add up to four total authorized buyers.

A. Earnings are automatically accumulated in your Membership account electronically and are converted into awards every time your earnings balance reaches $10.

Q. How many dollars do I need before I am eligible to use an award?
A. Once you reach $10 in awards, you will be able to use your awards for purchases over $10. You will be prompted at the register and will have the option to use your award toward your current purchase or bank the award for use at a later time, within 6 months from the date issued.

Q. If I use another credit or debit card, cash or check for a purchase instead of a My BJ’s Perks Mastercard , will I earn awards on that purchase?
A. BJ’s Perks Plus and BJ’s Perks Elite Members must use their My BJ’s PerksMastercard in order to earn on their purchases both at BJ’s and outside of BJ’s at other establishments. BJ’s Perks Plus and BJ’s Perks Elite Members earn 2% cash back on dining out and on gas purchases outside of BJ’s, based on their area of business. Each merchant is assigned a code by a third party that indicates the merchant’s area of business. 2% cash back will only be awarded if the merchant code for the purchase matches a category eligible for the offer. Comenity Capital Bank does not have the ability to control assignment of merchant codes.
