Do I need to download an app?
Yes, download the BJ’s app to your device. Learn more about downloading from the Apple Store or Google Play Store here. Once the application is downloaded you will need to sign in to the application. If you have not signed into the application you will need to register using your Membership ID.
Do all BJ’s locations offer ExpressPay?
Yes, ExpressPay is available to use in all Club locations.
Do I need to be on the BJ’s network?
You need to be connected to the BJ’s Club Wi-Fi. Make sure your location services are turned on to gain better access.
Is there a limit to how many items I can scan with ExpressPay?
Yes, 30 item limit or Order Total less than $750.
Will I need to show a receipt before leaving the store?
After you complete your transaction in the app, your membership barcode will be displayed on your device to be scanned at the Front Door. After the membership barcode is scanned by the BJ’s Front Door Team Member they will scan a number of items in your basket to validate that you have been charged appropriately.
Can I use ExpressPay in all departments?
Yes except for tires, gift cards, propane, appliances, security-protected items and age-restricted products such as fireworks, tobacco and alcohol products. If you are purchasing these products you will be directed to a register to complete the transaction.

Can I use coupons with ExpressPay?
Only digital clipped coupons that are clipped through the BJ’s App are accepted.
What do I do if I start my ExpressPay transaction and determine that I need to purchase more than 30 items, have an order total greater than $750 or need to purchase restricted products?
The application will direct you to visit a register to complete your transaction.
